Richard Grills started his sales career at age 14. By the time he was 26 he was manager of a 3500 sq. ft. sporting goods and hobby store leading a staff of 10 people.
After moving to Alberta in 1979, he successfully entered the real estate industry selling 10 homes in 14 weeks only to find the crash put an end to the booming Calgary market in 1981.
After that he spent 16 years as a marketing consultant and sales manager in the fundraising industry, print advertising industry and finally has been an Internet Marketing Consultant for the past 13 years.
Richard is a Certified Programmer Analyst and has used computers for over 25 years, working with CMR database programs, graphic design, and website development applications. As an Internet marketing consultant he helped
develop successful Internet marketing programs for the Calgary Herald and the Trader Corporation. Hired in 2001 as a new media consultant he assisted in the development of the Homebase Media Real Estate Website and was instrumental in creating
the very successful Homebase Real Estate Guide, where he developed the marketing strategies and client management systems needed to build the publication to its current levels.
Richard has sold everything from vacuum cleaners to financial services, and been promoted to sales manager in 4 industries. Richard’s knowledge of time management, computer software applications, print advertising and Internet
marketing as well as sales and marketing methods in general are extensive and has the ability to combine these concepts into systems resulting in success for his clients is unique.
